I have always had an interest in plants and animals and a desire to paint them. It wasn’t until Lauren Black came to Tasmania and started taking botanical illustration classes that I was able to satisfy this desire to paint plants.
Being a member of Botaniko has enabled me to not only continue with botanical illustration but to indulge in some historical research as well and this has been a very interesting and fulfilling experience.
