- Janet Thompson
Janet has had an interest in things botanical since childhood with a particular interest in Australian plants. After studying Agricultural Science and Horticulture she worked in Plant Pathology and later as a Landscape Designer. She currently enjoys volunteering at the Tasmanian Seed Conservation Centre.
Taking up watercolour painting and botanical art 7 years ago has brought her a great deal of pleasure, combining interests in science and art. As part of Botaniko Art Group, she has enjoyed exhibiting paintings in various galleries throughout Tasmania.
